Title: Neutrophilic myelocyte and basophilic erythroblast in reactive bone marrow smear (human) Description: Stain: May-Grünwald-Giemsa (MGG). The neutrophilic myelocyte (1) has a nucleus (with nucleoli) located at one side of the cell. Cytoplasm contains many azurophilic granules. The early basophilic erythroblast (2) has a strong basophilic cytoplasm without granules, and a nucleus with condensed chromatin (not transparent). (3): Late polychromatic erythroblast.
