Title: Plasmacytoid lymphocytes (activated B cells) in peripheral blood smear (human) Description: Stain: May-Grünwald-Giemsa (MGG). Two different plasmacytoid lymphocytes or activated young B cells (up to 15 mm) contain a dark-stained nucleus and a slightly basophilic cytoplasm with a kind of a ‘nuclear hof’ indicating the Golgi area.
