(2): Lamina propria connective tissue with infiltrates of lymphocytes.
Locally lymph follicles (4) are present.
(3): Lamina muscularis mucosae.
(6): Tela submucosa.
(5): Inner circular muscular layer.
(7): Outer longitudinal muscular layer. (8) Rests of the serosa.
