Description: Stain: (A, B) Hematoxylin-eosin.

(A):  Lining glandular epithelium of endometriosis (→); nodule of endometriotic glands (1) embedded in endometrial stroma. Muscular wall of vagina (2); vaginal proper lamina (3) and non-keratinising  squamous epithelium (4).

(B):   Some remnants of glandular lining (→) of endometriotic cyst (6) with shedded epithelial cells (7), hemorrhagic endometrial stroma ( 5) synchronic with menstrual cycle.
