Title: Endometrioid adenocarcinoma, well-differentiated (human, adult)

Description: Stain: (A) Hematoxylin-eosin; (B) CK 7 (OVTL 12-30) antikeratin antibody immunoperoxidase staining with diaminobenzidin reaction (DAB) (B).  

(A): Variation in form, and size of the glandular structure of the tumor (1) as well as   irregular arrangement of the glandular epithelia. Stroma (2) with dispersed chronic inflammatory cells.  

(B):   Slight heterogeneity in CK 7 expression (brown-stained) of the glandular lining. Mitoses and polymorphism of cells/nuclei are present. Stroma (2) negative, note ‘back-to-back’ glands (*) representing non-destructive replacement of endometrial stroma by tumor. (Partly by courtesy of  G. P.
