Description: Stain: (A) Hematoxylin-eosin. (B) CO-TL1 monoclonal antibody immunoperoxidase staining with diaminobenzidin reaction (DAB) and hematoxylin counterstaining.
Normal colon crypts (A, 1) with absorptive cells and goblet cells. In the lower area (2) of the photograph adenomatous polyp cells are found still arranged in gland-like structures but without distinct goblet cells. The monoclonal antibody CO-TL1 (in B) stains strongly all normal cell types in the crypts (1).
In the adenomatous polyp cells (2) the staining rather remains rather limited to the apical site and surface of the cells.
